I ordered a Scout Scope mount for my Armory AK SSr-85c-2 and wanted to take a minute to thank you for the excellent product.
The machining, directions and simplicity has far exceeded my expectations!
Literally it took me about 10 minutes to install. Why anyone would skimp on the "Dust cover" type mount when they could spend a few extra bucks for this piece of art is beyond me. Anyone that wants to mount optics on their AK needs one of these period. By far the best mount available.

I collect and shoot military firearms and have a C&R license. Many of the rifles I shoot, Mosin Nagants, Mausers etc have "scout Mount" scopes installed. I actually prefer this type of Mount. I also have more modern firearms, numerous models of the SKS and AK-47. I scope what I can but I have been limited in many cases to receiver cover type mounts that are not very satisfactory. Your product fits the Bill! The mount is solid as a rock and I am impressed with the quality of the Machining and tight tolerences. Even your Instructions for installation are superior and they are really simple to install and remove. Best of all the price is very reasonable considering the quality. I will be purchasing more for my AK's. When I bring these up to my gun club to shoot they will turn heads.

The mount is great and with the Aimpoint mounted on my AK 47 shorty it is a better weapon for quick target acquisition, especially in Iraq.

Received my SKS mount in todays mail and followed your printed instructions to the letter. I experienced absolutely no problems what-so-ever with the installation and my red-dot installed easily onto the rail. It's nice to buy a product that actually works as advertised and is a great value as well.

I received my SKS mount and have it installed on the gun. I am very happy thus far with the mount. It is well engineered and manufactured. It's a rock solid set up. I am also pleased that I can still use stripper clips.
